The Islamic Center of Fremont community supports a program called Abode Services, which is dedicated to providing both material and job search/career-related assistance for the needy. The ICF's website explains that "this small effort gives Islam a positive image in the community" as community members contribute $10 each month to Abode for the purchase of supplies and food items that have been requested by Abode's kitchen coordinator.
